Reflexologist
Duties and Responsibilities:Reflexologists work with patients to help them ease the stress and tension in their lives. They perform therapeutic massage techniques to stimulate pressure points in patients' hands and feet. Some reflexologists also work with pressure points around the ears. Reflexologists usually use their fingers and thumbs to stimulate specific areas, while other massage professionals use the entirety of their hands. Self-employed or business-owning reflexologists may also carry out managerial tasks, such as bookkeeping, scheduling appointments and marketing their services.
Work Environment
Salary:According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics 2016-17 Occupational Outlook Handbook, the median national annual salary for massage therapists is $37,180. Actual salaries may vary greatly based on specialization within the field, location, years of experience and a variety of other factors.
Education:Aspiring reflexologists attend certificate or associate degree programs in massage therapy with an emphasis in reflexology. To qualify for certification, students must have at least 110 hours of study in reflexology. Courses cover a wide variety of topics, including anatomy, foot mapping, reflexology history,
i would not like to be this because i feel like that it aint for me. No i know it ain’t for me it looks boring just rubbing people body parts. That sounds so boring to do.
